Book an Appointment
Welcome to Koa Acupuncture & Wellness! We are so glad you’re here! Please take a moment to review the information below before booking your appointment.
NEW PATIENTS
Nicole is not accepting new patients until the new year. If you are new to the clinic, please book with Aly or Candice — they are both accepting new patients and look forward to working with you. We recommend booking your follow-up appointment within one to two weeks after your initial visit to support continuity of care and the best treatment results. If you are having trouble finding an appointment that fits your schedule, please book the next available time that works for you and also add yourself to the waitlist, found at the bottom of the schedule. We do our best to accommodate patients as openings become available.
EXISTING PATIENTS If you’re having difficulty getting in or are experiencing an acute concern, please book the next available time and add yourself to the waitlist. This ensures you have a follow-up booked if we’re able to fit you in sooner.
If you’re in an acute situation, check Nicole, Aly and Candice’s availability — we are happy to see you as soon as possible. You can also call or email us if you need help being added to the waitlist.
CANCELLATION POLICY Your appointment time is reserved just for you. We require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes. If we are able to fill your spot, we will waive the cancellation fee. If there isn’t enough notice and we are unable to fill your appointment time, a cancellation fee will apply. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
DIRECT BILLING We offer direct billing to most major insurance providers. If you have questions about your coverage for acupuncture services, please contact your insurance company directly for details.

Acupuncture
Our acupuncturists use motor point needling techniques to “reset” affected muscle spindle fibers. This teaches the body to maintain balance between its opposing muscle groups, maintain strength and tone of muscle, as well as open the nervous system circuit to maintain optimal functioning and range of motion. When these techniques are performed correctly by a licensed acupuncturist with this specialized training, results are immediate, which provides a quick return to activity and peak level of performance for you.
Sports acupuncturists may also use soft tissue release and mobilizations, postural assessment, stretches, and exercises to correct postural imbalances to quickly get you back in the game pain free, maintaining optimal results and preventing future injuries.
